'Do you like being mobile?'

Updated: Oct 18, 2018

This is one of the questions a client asked me the other day.Well, my answer was a resounding yes!

First of all, we are living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. I have travelled all over Nottinghamshire, and have discovered villages, and landscapes that I never knew existed. I have lived in Nottinghamshire for about 30 years, but originally I was, and really still am, a High Peak girl.I love the rugged hills of the High Peak, and my heart is always uplifted when I travel home, but I have to say Notts has captured my heart.

reflexology is a great treatment for stress

I have lived in the centre of the county, and on the outskirts of the city, but in recent years I have moved out to D H Lawrence country, and this really is the best of both worlds. Countryside, sense of community, and yet so close to city life.

I try to ensure that I travel no further than a half hour drive, but it is surprising that at the right time of day I can end up going quite a distance, and passing through pretty little villages, seeing new developments, and witnessing glorious sunsets as I head home.

Sometimes being self employed can be quite isolating, so getting out and about every day I feel connected with the world, and every day I spot something different. This summer with the weather being so stunning has given me the chance to see the most beautiful views on my travels.

Meeting clients in their own homes has also had benefits. I have had chance to meet other members of the household, and this has resulted in husbands, partners, parents, and children who may have not even considered having a treatment being intrigued by what I have been doing, and then wanting to give it a go! So now I have whole family treatments, with everyone having the incredible benefits of Gentle Touch Reflexology, and I will always give a deal for family treatments.
